Boulder seems desolate and void of life. Within a cavernous, unfinished black structure on its surface lay several dormant android shells, their consciousness supplied by those living on the orbiting Arvada space station, far above the atmosphere. One morning, a shell awakens, alone and confused. 

Mocha, Sgt. Kahlúa, and Espresso find themselves on a dry and barren planet with no hope of escape, and an inability to cooperate. Meanwhile, Coil is stuck with the ruthless Darth Tonic and his bodyguards on a strange satellite among citizens naive to Tonic's dystopian rule.
